Hawks does allow independent baseball teams to play within AYL league so long as the teams meet the territorial requirements of AYL. If a team does not meet the territorial requirements, then they will need to communicate with the director of baseball to see if we can get an exception: (see AYL baseball roster rules) baseball@parkerhawks.org or baseball1@parkerhawks.org.
AYL / HAWKS (AAA LEVEL), AGES 8-14
A highly competitive level of play. Generally, these players have played baseball multiple years at a competitive level and have been highly successful.
Placement at this level is according to previous season standings and/or previous season tournament records. Approx. 10-14 game regular season with a season-ending single elimination tournament (AYL World Series). In 2025, ages 9 & 10 games were played on Tuesday night, ages 8 & 13 were played on Wednesday night and ages 11 & 12 on Thursday night. Games nights are not guaranteed and could change (and OFTEN do), but we make every effort to play games on those days. For more detailed information on this level of play visit www.aylsports.org
Placement onto a AAA team is the decision of the coach and not Parker Youth Sports. Tryouts are required for these teams. If individuals are interested in playing at this level please visit the Hawks Baseball Tryouts tab. Final placement of teams is at the discretion of the AYL Baseball Board.
AYL / HAWKS (MAJORS LEVEL), AGES 9-13:
The highest level of play at the competitive level.
Placement at this level is according to previous season standings, previous season tournament records and/or tournament power rankings. This decision will be made by the AYL Baseball Board. Should teams not like the outcome of the decision by the AYL Baseball Board they may petition the AYL Baseball Board through their Member Delegate for movement up or down.
